Come and stay in our family’s beautiful river side vacation home! With views of the water from the front porch and the quiet peaceful surroundings this home is sure to be perfect for anyone wanting to go fishing on their boat, hunting, or enjoy a family vacation. There is a private neighborhood boat ramp available right out front and the home does have a backup generator, large front and back porches, large living area with plenty of seating and a large laundry room great for storing any extras!

Access to the waterfront and boat dock. There is a small boat launch for your small boats, jet skis, kayaks and paddleboards next to the pier. Shared use of the screened-in gazebo. Cozy cabin nestled on the edge of Lake Mattummuskeet. This newly constructed cabin blends in seamlessly with the surrounding trees. Large covered back deck provides a tranquil escape and endless water views. Whether you are an advent bird watcher, or drawn to be on the water there is an activity for all. The large spacious interior comfortably sleeps a group of 2 or as many as 10. Outdoor dining with gas grill and roomy decks. Reconnect with nature and disconnect from the world for a while.

Centrally located 10 mins from Lake Mattamuskeet, 5 mins from Ferry Station to Ocracoke Island, 1 hr to OBX. Perfect for hunters, fishermen, birding and families looking for a comfortable place to relax with a spacious, fully stocked kitchen and pantry. Stop for a few nights on the way to OBX or to catch the ferry. Dogs are NOT allowed any longer, but message me requests and I may consider pets outside or in enclosed porch with PRIOR approval and guidelines.

A Couples Hideout on Ocracoke

Our garage suite is two rooms with a beach & surfing theme. We have a detached garage and the suite is in back, separate from the house with its own entrance. There's a queen bed, tiki bar, and kitchenette. You'll be secluded with lots of cedars & bamboo around a private deck. Our place is in the heart of Ocracoke with restaurants & shops within walking or biking distance. The Ocracoke Lighthouse & Springers Point Nature Preserve are a 5-8 minute walk.

SurfShanty! New Tiny Home Escape

Wedged between cedar and live oak trees, the SurfShanty tiny home is the ultimate escape for active island explorers and those seeking a respite from reality alike. Down a sand path, just off Back Road, the Shanty is centrally located to all village destinations. After spending the day at the beach, surround yourself with the beauty and splendor of this enchanting Cabana on Ocracoke Island. The shared swimming pool is 14' x 28' (available from mid April -mid October from dawn to dusk for registered renters of the Cabanas) creating a haven for rejuvenation and tranquility.
