Excellent walks and cycle routes in the area, a wealth of wildlife around, curious sheep that come to the fence and views looking over to Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland Fells. There are lots of fantastic eateries nearby. 20 mins from M6 Junction 34.

Weavers Cottage is a detached 17th century stone built barn at the head of the Ullswater valley in the central Lakes. Ingleside Cottage is a 200 year old stone cottage, boasting a quirky layout and impressive split level garden area.  It is ideally situated to explore the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District, including the famous Ingleton Waterfall Trail and Ingleton Cave. Burton-in-Lonsdale is a compact village of 600 residents within a short walking distance from the community shop. Unfortunately the village pub is temporarily closed (01/03/24) as it is for sale.
