Excellent walks and cycle routes in the area, a wealth of wildlife around, curious sheep that come to the fence and views looking over to Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland Fells. There are lots of fantastic eateries nearby. 20 mins from M6 Junction 34.

A traditional barn, set on the slopes of Whernside, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this truly is a secluded spot. Located at the end of a narrow track, it is surrounded by woodland, fields and two streams. The open plan, rustic style suits couples, small groups and some families, and is ideal as a base for outdoor activities. A peaceful dog-friendly rural retreat with walks on your doorstep, exclusive use of the garden, charcoal BBQ, pizza oven, and a wood-fired hot tub to relax in.

The Rabbit Hole is beautiful hideaway in the magnificent Yorkshire Dales. Perfect for a romantic break or as a base for walking & cycling in the surrounding countryside. Very close to the market town of Skipton with its medieval castle, shops & restaurants. Embsay is a quiet village with Bolton Abbey, The Tithe Barn, and Grassington; famous for All Creatures Great and Small, all within easy reach. Embsay has a shop, 2 pubs and a steam railway station. Greta Cottage is a quaint, stone built, end terrace cottage situated overlooking a wooded open land alongside the River Greta. It is located on the edge of the charming village of Burton-in-Lonsdale. There are many walks from the cottage across fields, through woods and along the peaceful River Greta. It is in perfect striking distance for walking and exploring the Dales and Lake District. Ingleton, Kirkby Lonsdale and Settle are all within easy reach. The Three Peaks challenge is nearby.

The Old Potting Shed, cosy retreat with hot tub

The Old Potting Shed is a romantic hideaway for two set in the walled garden of the owners' house with its own private entrance. The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.

Old school cottage is a unique holiday home full of charm and character. Its large feature window and double height kitchen area is perfect for socialising. Langcliffe is a quiet,picturesque Dales village just a short walk from Settles pubs and restaurants. It is a popular starting point for walkers visiting the Victoria caves, Malham , 3 peaks , settle loop, 3 different waterfalls and wild swimming spots are all near by. There is a private garden area with views of the village green.
