Magical, grade II listed 18th century traditional Lakeland cottage set within 5 acres of woodlands, leading directly to 2 private beaches on Lake Windermere. Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends, families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. Separately charged are a luxurious hot tub, perfect after a hard days hike and a wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower. A tuck shop, art classes and treatments are also available.

The Lake District Bunkbarn, Ings

A perfectly located 18th century agricultural stone barn (1.8m from Windermere). Revamped with modern amenities, but still with a rustic feel. Situated on our Stud Farm just outside Windermere in the village of Ings, a stones throw from the village pub, farm shop and local cafe. Directly accessed off the main road and beside the bus stop with direct links to a number of walks/cycle passes. This upmarket Bunkbarn is one of a kind with secure parking, storage and catering for disabled people.

The Den - Scandinavian BBQ Cabin - Lake District

The Den is a unique space within the Lake District - a Scandinavian BBQ cabin. A large BBQ pit in the centre to sit around provides a cosy relaxing evening space, and a place to cook! WiFi, Fridge, Microwave, Kettle & Coffee Machine. Bedding provided. Recently upgraded bathroom facilities! Private shower, toilet and sink, exterior but right next to The Den. 8 minutes by car to Windermere, 5 minutes to Kendal. Easy access to a bus stop and cycle lane. Adults only. Sorry but no pets.

Watermill Cottage is a brand new, totally refurbished cottage located in Ings, near Windermere. The cottage is a stone's throw from the Watermill Inn and home of Windermere Brewing Company which serves excellent food all day. This stunning cottage has two sumptuous en-suite king-sized bedrooms with walk-in wardrobes and wall-mounted smart TV's. The modern, high spec dining kitchen has top of the range appliances. The lounge has comfortable sofas, wall-mounted TV and a feature fire.

There are walks in abundance from the doorstep, and only a short drive from both Ambleside and Windermere. One well-trained dog is welcome for an additional fee.
