My cottage is a home from home. Just a 5 minute walk from the High Street in the village in a beautifully peaceful setting. Innerleithen itself is renowned for its cycling, especially mountain biking my cottage is ideal base for mountain biking at Glentress or on ‘7 Stanes’ routes. With fun antique shops, pubs, restaurants, craft shops and world famous fishing this would be the perfect place to stay. It’s ideal too for a romantic getaway from everything, yet Edinburgh is only an hour drive away.

Romantic Medieval Castle

Barns Tower is an authentic medieval mini castle with roaring log fires and all modern comforts. The Tower is located in a beautiful rural setting on the River Tweed and is an ideal location for exploring the Scottish Borders. Peebles is nearby with great amenities and there’s heavenly walks right from the door. Please be aware that The Tower is located at the end of a rural track and due care should be taken with speed and approach. The Tower is arranged over 4 floors with steep staircases.

The Annex is a charming self-contained cottage with private garden, attached to a historic country house in the Scottish Borders. Surrounded by beautiful rolling hills, including part of the Southern Upland Way; tributaries to the salmon and trout-rich River Tweed; and also many miles of forest trails for adventure seeking mountain bikers, our accommodation will appeal to anyone with a love of the great outdoors. 2 miles to the village of Innerleithen for all local amenities & several pubs!

As well as the usual facilities we provide unlimited Superfast WiFi, Sky TV with free sports and movies, all linen, towels, a welcome pack and consumables, from tea bags to tomato ketchup at no extra cost.

Gentle river walks, hill walking, mountain biking fishing and wild swimming all on your doorstep. A user friendly kitchen and a cafe two minutes walk from the door. Surrounded by stunning countryside, this cottage has everything. A few pairs of osprey around at the moment, otters in the Tweed. Perfect getaway. Bike storage in back garden .
