Cabin 5 is in the center of it all. This waterfront cabin has its own deck overlooking Lake Huron. There is also a futon which can sleep 2 extra people. Shady Shores is conveniently located along Michigan's gorgeous east shoreline along US-23, locally known as the sunrise side. The resort features stunning, unimpeded views of Lake Huron and the eastern horizon. We are located 2 miles south of downtown Oscoda and 12 miles north of downtown Tawas. We have direct access to Lake Huron as well

I pride myself in giving my guests a relaxing, peaceful home to get away to. If you are coming for a week or a weekend, you will enjoy the amenities that are offered. Access to a private beach on Lake Huron that is great for swimming and walking. House is surrounded by a small woods with enjoyable wildlife. Location is minutes from downtown Oscoda, world class golfing at Lakewood Shores, the Au Sable River, Huron National Forrest, and so much more. Home is very comfortable, so you will be to.

The Little House on the Edge of the Big Woods

Welcome to the Little House on the Edge of the Big Woods. Come relax on our homestead in Northeast Michigan. This newly constructed chalet style home sits on 10 acres. Relax and view the cattle grazing in the fields or the whitetail deer foraging around. To the South is our homestead style farm which is home to our Scottish Highland cattle, mini horse, pigs, chickens, cats, and bunnies. To the North is the Huron National Forest. The city of East Tawas is only a short 4.5 mile drive as well.

Log cabin right on the lake that is close to EVERYTHING, making it easy to plan your visit. You can relax outside by the fire pit or get cozy inside the sitting room that overlooks Lake Huron and has a spectacular view. We have a separate game room equipped with shuffleboard and a 65" smart TV. Bring your boat right up to the private dock or use the 2 kayaks that are included with your stay. Can't beat the location! You can walk or bike to the shops, restaurants, parks and beaches.

Floyd Lake Lodge

Take it easy, deprogram at this unique and tranquil getaway. Watch the morning sunrise on the deck. Comfortable living room with a wood fireplace. Relax at the fire pit overlooking Floyd Lake. Kayaks available. 3 bedrooms, 4 beds and futon. Hit the Sand Lake Trail head for off-road ORV use 5 mins away. Kayaking and tubbing trips on Au Sable River nearby. A fifteen-minute drive to the beautiful Lake Huron beaches, restaurants, bars and shopping in East Tawas overlooking Lake Huron.

The Loft at Little Island Lake Resort

The Loft at Little Island Lake Resort is located on the shores of Little Island Lake. It sleeps up to 5 people, with two full size beds and a twin sleeper sofa. There is also a small patio, which includes a bistro set and a view of the entire property. It also features a fully stocked kitchenette with mini fridge, toaster, griddle, and microwave. All guests have use of kayaks, standup paddle boards, a 4-seater paddle boat, and fishing gear. Life vests are provided and required.

Papa's place is a cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin that over looks Tawas Lake, great for fishing, kayaking & bird watching. The cabin features a fully stocked kitchen, open living space with a 50" smart TV and wood stove for those cool spring & fall nights. The quaint town of East Tawas is only minutes away that offers wonderful shops & restaurants. Tawas beach (Lake Huron) is less than 2 miles away. Come for a night or stay the week on Michigan’s sunrise side.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. This special 3 bed 2.5 bath chalet is located on the quiet part of Van Etten Lake, ensuring you will have a relaxing and peaceful vacation. Relax and fish on your own private dock and tie up your boat, and jet skis. Van Etten Lake is a year-round all-sports Lake for boating, fishing, kayaking, jet skiing, canoeing, water skiing, tubing, swimming, and ice fishing.
