Hardwood floors, fenced-in back yard with deck and grill, small full kitchen. Dining table seats 6. Nice SmartTV with Netflix and access to internet apps and Samsung FreeTv. No smoking, please. We are a small acreage just 15 minutes from Iowa City, 7 minutes from Solon, and 30 minutes from the Cedar Rapids airport. Our converted barn is at the back of the property, behind the house. There is a separate road leading back to the barn for super convenient parking. It’s rustic, cozy, warm and inviting.

Guests enjoy access to our wrap around porch, gardens, and the salon when it is not in use. Our salon hosts workshops and readings, and provides information on the latest literary happenings in Iowa City, a Unesco City of Literature. We are a five minute walk from downtown. Free parking and a private entrance is available in the back.
