FYI, no events will take place during your stay. The Farmhouse was built in the late 1880s in the traditional Finnish style of square-cut logs. It was extensively renovated with two other additions and all the modern amenities you'd expect in a home today. The Wade Inn Iron River is a great place to relax and enjoy the quiet beauty of nature and be less than a half mile from town! Very peaceful setting on a quiet wooded lot with lots of shade trees and outdoor table and chairs with a Grill!! Iron River is also a great location, close to National Forests, the World famous Brule river, and Lake Superior all within a fifteen minute drive!! Bayfield and the Apostle Islands are also not too much further, and are great easy day trips to enjoy.

Classic, Vintage Log Cabin on 2.5 acres right on Lake Superior - a cozy step back in time! 250 ft. of private bedrock shoreline. 3 Bedrooms: 2 Queen, 1 Dbl. 3/4 bath, kitchen, and indoor wood burning fireplace. Outdoors: both gas & charcoal grills, firepit, firewood, a swing & picnic table. You'll see birds at the feeder right outside your window, plus plenty of deer and eagles right out the front window. The nightly fee is for 2 adults. There's a $10 fee/night/each additional guest.

Fishing, bird watching, biking, cross-country skiing and hiking are great "silent sports" but the cabin is also only a few blocks from the Tri-County Corridor (the start of the Whistlestop Marathon) for exceptional dirt biking, four-wheeling and snowmobiling.
