This total Charmer was the original Idahome of the author, Wilson Rawls and is themed after his literary classic written here, "Where The Red Fern Grows." Our quiet country neighborhood is located in beautiful Idaho farmland. Enjoy jam from our garden and a stroll to the neighborhood lake. We're 15 min from BYU-Idaho, 1.5 hrs from Yellowstone NP, 1.5 hrs from Jackson and Grand Teton NP, 15 min from sand dunes and about 1 hr from Grand Targhee Ski Resort.

Location-Solitude-Summer playground: We are located within 2 miles of Southfork of the snake river. Huskeys boat launch is less than 1 mile away. Palisades resevoir is a short drive away. Calamity boat launch is 10 miles from our home. We have many local hiking trails and recreational activities here in Irwin, ID. Grand Teton National Park is 70 miles away and Yellowston National Park is 118 miles away from our home.
