Located 10 minutes from the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, this gorgeous 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath log cabin (comfortably sleeps 7) is perfect for family vacations, & relaxing getaways. Located on 42 acres, this custom-built cabin has all the ammenities of home, while offering access to hiking trails, ATV & biking trails, water fallls, fishing lakes, beaches & all that the lakeshore has to offer. Guest can explore Grand Island or take a sunset cruise out of Munising Bay, 5 miles west of the cabin.

Now, a quiet neighborhood ideal for bicyclist, hunters, fishing enthusiast and resting after countless adventures here in the beautiful Upper Peninsula. There are so many sites to see within miles of Grandma's House. Though this home was built in the late 1800s, you will immediately feel the warmth and comfort of a modern day living experience.

Winter months include accessing snowmobile trails from your front door, nearby downhill and cross country ski venues and snowshoeing. Curl up by a crackling fire at days end. Spring brings day trips to beautiful waterfalls. Fall brings hunting to mind. Plenty of wooded areas for bird and deer hunting.

Located 25 minutes north of Marquette, our yurt is simple and rustic without electricity and a woodstove is the only heat source. We provide bedding, water in buckets, a simple kitchen, a battery pack for string lights, and a sauna for warming the bones. We encourage and cater to silent-sport type of guests as we have kind and close neighbors on all sides. Guests have huge walk in shower and full bathroom amenities. Kitchen features Large island for entertainment purposes, full stove, oven and large fridge freezer option. This space has been remodeled in its entirety august 2021.

Nick's Backyard Bluff

We are proud of the space we provide and strive to make it comfortable, clean and affordable for your UP visits. So, relax with your family and friends at this peaceful place to stay. We recently added a gas/charcoal grill and updated the seating areas. We will continue to work on improving this home and hope to have a bar & grill and storage built in the back yard and available for next year.

The Sugar Shack

🌿The Sugar Shack is a cozy 12x12 rustic cabin tucked into 40 Acres of Northwoods and located 17 miles north of Marquette. Hidden in the foothills of the Huron Mountains, you will be in close proximity to our best hiking trails, waterfalls and beaches. The little town of Big Bay is nearby with a general store, fuel, bar, cafe and restaurant.
