Port Moluag House, Isle of Lismore

Our house sits at the bottom of a secret track in a private, historical cove on the beautiful Hebridean island of Lismore. Secluded, quiet and peaceful, Port Moluag is within easy reach of the Scottish mainland whilst feeling totally removed from the pace and noise of city life. The house is newly-built using eco technologies to limit its environmental impact and is surrounded by wonderful wildlife such as seals, otters, and a multitude of birds as well as many sites of historical interest.

Otter Burn Cabin

Nestled in nature along the beautiful west coast of Scotland is the perfect couples getaway.  Otter Burn has been designed to work with its environment and blend in with its surroundings so that from the moment you arrive you can feel at peace and enjoy the stunning views from your bedroom window. It is a refreshing new take on the glamping pod experience, offering all the comforts of a modern 21st centaury home while being only a few steps away from the tranquillity of the Scottish landscape.

Gometra Teacher's Bothy

VERY BASIC REMOTE BEAUTIFUL BUT NOT LUXURIOUS bothy in an idyllic situation 5 mins walk from sea. Bring own bedding and cooking stove. Basic pots crockery cutlery etc provided. Indoor toilet, indoor bath heated by solid fuel stove. Wood can be bought for £13 a bucket and will be left for you to use if you want. Suits kayakers, experienced hillwalkers and island baggers. Please see reviews for more feedback. No Ulva ferry on Saturday, and on Sunday only in June, July & August.

The Hide at High Oatfield

The Hide self-catering studio is a glorious little haven of peace and tranquillity on the Isle of Mull. The perfect setting for a romantic couples' holiday. Great walking and abundant wild life on the doorstep. Centrally located for ease of access for the whole island. You will need a car if you are staying with us we are about 3 miles away from the nearest village Sorry we don't have facilities for children or babies and as we have our own dogs we cannot accept pets.

Steading Cottage - 50m from the beach

Situated on the beautiful Airds Estate in Port Appin and 5 minutes walk from Port Appin's excellent restaurants. This is a 3 bedroom cottage in a 300 year old farm building. It is 50m from the beach with direct access to the beach. There is no public road between you and the shoreline - it's very private! The views are spectacular and the kitchen is very well equipped. Perfect for hiking or skiing the mountains, kayaking to the seal colony or cycling and walking.

The Otter Holt @ Dobhranach Self Catering Annexe

The Otter Holt Self catering is a lovely annexe attached to the main house. Surrounded by wildlife, mountains, moorland, forests, sea, and beautiful beaches to explore. Whether into photography, hiking, or just here to explore what the Island has to offer. The space is totally private, although part of the main house, you have your own entrance. Its fully equipped for all your needs to help you enjoy your stay. The Otter Holt is pet friendly and sleeps 2 adults.

Fairwinds Cabin, Isle of Mull

Our cosy larch grass roofed cabin situated within a working croft in the Ross of Mull is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. With views across Staffa & the Treshnish Isles, you can watch the sun rise over Ben More and set over Lunga from the comfort of the sofa. We’ve ditched the mod cons with no TV, wifi & phone signal and replaced them with good old fashioned boardgames, a great stack of books and selection of old & new vinyl for the record player.

The Bothan

Relax in this calm, stylish space on the Isle of Kerrera and explore the beautiful and wild landscape. The ideal island getaway for couples or lone adventurers. Abundant wildlife such as otters, sea eagles and beautiful wild flora can be discovered as well as historic sites such as Gylen castle, all the while surrounded by breathtaking views. The island is easily accessible by the nearby Calmac passenger ferry from Gallanach, near the mainland town of Oban.

Ardvergnish Cottage

Ardvergnish Cottage is a stunningly remote place to escape to on the beautiful Isle of Mull. A haven for wildlife enthusiasts and birdwatchers, you only have to step outside the door to see hen harriers, curlews, and sea eagles. The deer go down past the house in the evening to feed on the marsh, joining the otters who live there. It is centrally located for exploring the island in every direction.

Dunans Cottage

Dunans Cottage is situated in the beautiful Knapdale Forest 1.9 miles from Cairnbaan within a National Scenic Area. The views are fantastic! The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ). Many outdoor and indoor activities are available within the area but the peace and quiet at Dunans are unique.

Bearnus Bothy on Isle of Ulva

Bearnus Bothy has been lovingly renovated using our principle of ecological design to repair, repurpose and use what has been washed-up by the sea. It is one of the last old residences outside of the main dwellings around the Main House on Ulva. As such there are no neighbours until you reach the tiny community on Gometra - where we live - another three miles down the track.

Rustic shepherd's hut on secluded private estate

Nestled under a canopy of Beech trees is our lovingly handcrafted shepherd's hut - Stravaig ("the wanderer"). Located in a private and peaceful corner with a view over the Sound, Stravaig is well appointed with a rustic finish. A basic kitchen, cosy wood burner and bathroom with shower complete the package to give you the perfect base for your island adventure.
