Welcome to our peaceful countryside retreat located conveniently close to both Ft Moore/Columbus, GA and Auburn/Opelika, AL. The spacious suite offers unparalleled relaxation and enjoyment, beautiful views, farm animals, wildlife observation, and nearby amenities. You’ll see bison grazing by the house, chickens roaming, and hear the occasional MOOOOOO of a cow. Stargazing and bird watching are excellent activities, but you can also fish, play frisbee, darts, cornhole, explore walking trails...

Beasley Backwater Retreat on Lovely Lake Eufaula

The Beasley Backwater Retreat is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula, between the historic towns of Abbeville and Eufaula. The house, built as a vacation house by my grandparents in 1963, is pretty much vintage, with some more modern conveniences, such as microwave, dishwasher, HVAC, internet access, and a Keurig. Located on a peaceful area of the lake, with a private dock and nice neighbors, it's a great place to get away from town and create fond memories--it certainly has been for us! Enjoy!

Relax in our guest suite in the heart of the historic district of Columbus. The main home is a fully renovated shot-gun house built in 1909. Our guest suite has its own private entrance and will give you all the privacy you need. You will be able to enjoy the beautiful patio with a koi pound. The pool adds a taste of tropical paradise for our guests to enjoy. Each cabin has 2 Queen Bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a sleeping loft with 5 twin beds. Maximum of 8 guests on site. Hike the woods or around the lake or just sit on the porch. Fishing is catch and release only. No fish cleaning on site.
