The property is located next to Scenic Point on Highway 7 in Jasper. The gift shop is adjacent to our property. You cannot ask for a better location for your trip to the Ozarks. You’re not far off the Highway, but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere due to the tranquility of the space. This is a perfect spot to call "home base" during your hiking trip to Jasper or float trip on the Buffalo National River. Also, a side note; the inside fireplace is not usable but the outside firepit is.

We have a propane grill just waiting for your culinary skills. Maybe you'd rather prepare a late breakfast in our mini-kitchen, and enjoy it on the porch with a fresh cup of coffee. Features your own private entrance, excellent water pressure, and additional amenities. New comfy mattress and able to provide additional sleeping area in separate living room. The Highland Hideaway is a perfect place for the whole family to relax and enjoy. Four of the cutest fuzzy cows live here! A wet-weather creek is just behind the house, with a rock bluff and fire pit. There is a foos ball table and massage chair for your enjoyment after a day of hiking. The Hideaway is located 3 miles from Carver Landing. You'll be within easy access to SO MANY gorgeous places, including the national park. There is a second home on the property that can also be booked.

Relax at this cozy little cabin with just you and your significant other or bring the kids along too! Enjoy peace and quiet and total privacy. Private walking trail to seasonal Osage creek too! Close to waterfalls and an old homestead built of hand hewn logs. Conveniently located to hiking trails as well. Center point trail, Compton trailhead, hideout hollow trailhead, hawksbill trail and more! Ponca and Boxely are close and highway 43 where you can watch Elk! Soak in our new hot tub too!!

Enjoy this cozy cabin nestled in the heart of the Ozarks. With a view of Lost Valley and beyond, the front porch is a nice place to relax and unwind! With a full kitchen, fire pit, horseshoe pit, charcoal grill, and more we wish you to be able to vacation deliberately, comfortably, and affordably! Please hit us up with any questions and thank you! We do have Pyrenees dogs who watch over the farm, they are harmless and just part of the landscape. Firewood for sale, 5$ an arm load!

There is also a sleeping area separate from the house available for an additional cost if you want to bring an extra guest or two. Close to many access points on the upper section of the Buffalo River for fishing, floating, hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing nearby.
