Walk to Magazine Street, the St. Charles streetcar, coffee shops, and the beautiful homes of the Garden District. Close to the French Quarter, but tucked away from the noise. City bus system close by, St Charles Streetcar within walking distance and only $7-$9 by Uber or Lyft into the center of the city. Parking outside right in front of the house. (Of course, on occasion, you may have to park a couple spots away, however it's rarely a problem to park right in front). There are hiking trails, or airboats/pontoon boat charters to get you in touch w the beautiful wetlands & marshes to see the local wildlife. if you have your own boat, you can drop it into the water just a block away at the local marina & tie it up out back on the dock. New Orleans is about 45 minutes just north w it's food, music & culture.
