Crafted by a shipwright. Anchored in time. The Shipwright's Bungalow sleeps 9 Welcome to The Shipwright’s Bungalow, a timeless coastal retreat on beautiful Saint Simons Island. Built in 1947 by a master shipbuilder, this mid-century bungalow was crafted with the same precision and care once reserved for wooden vessels. Though lovingly updated for modern comfort, the home still carries the spirit of its original craftsmanship — from the exposed beams to the warm, welcoming layout.
