Nestled between farmland and the mountains, you’ll find a cottage where sunsets are painted in the sky and reflected on the water of beautiful Boone Lake. Whether you want to catch deer grazing in the yard while you drink your coffee, soak up the sun, or sleep late and catch the sunset from the porch, there’s something for everyone to enjoy from this beautiful property. Centrally located between Bristol (Casino and State Street), Johnson City (ETSU), and Kingsport (Eastman and Bay’s Mountain).

Located just 11 miles from Rogersville (the second oldest city in Tennessee, founded by Davie Crocket's maternal grandparents!). Located 12 miles from Crockett Springs Park and Historic Site. Public boat launch located at Clinch River nearby.

Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

The Hideaway Cabin on the Lake

This adorable 3 br/2 bath cabin is the definition of serenity, but is only minutes from Johnson City, Bristol Motor Speedway, Rhythm and Roots festival, Blue Plum Festival, Fun Fest and the rest of the Tri Cities. There are 2 bedrooms with a queen bed , a full bath, kitchen/dining and living room on the main level, master br is upstairs . NO ANIMALS of any kind are allowed. The property is allergy free due to owner's family being highly allergic to animal hair, dander, feathers and the like.

Spivey Falls Cabin, A Cabin by a Waterfall

A secluded cabin with access to two private, large waterfalls in the Mountains of Tennessee. Nestled on a cliff, the beautiful nature offer precipitous trails to a swimming area beneath a waterfall. The family home overlooks a 75 foot cascading waterfall. Garden trails follow along the creek and incline. Interior cabin exhibits variety of cultural nostalgia from the local family's home and tradition. We hope you come away with peace, tranquility of God's nature and restorative living water .

The Trout House

Spacious, river-front home right on Watauga River! Large private pier right on the water with space to fish or put in your own kayak. Open kitchen/living room floor plan. Comfortably sleeps 8 with 2 bedrooms with queen beds, a couch- bed in the living room, and twin bunk beds in the bonus room. 65-in Roku TV in main living space with 2 additional smart TVs in bedrooms. Free parking in front of and behind the house. Perfect for a family vacation, guys' fishing weekend, or romantic getaway!

Enjoy the Birthplace of Country Music, NASCAR, and Rhythm and Roots Reunion, with easy day trips to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Asheville. Watauga River Cottage in Johnson City, TN

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly water front river cottage (Approximately 1,700sf)! Bring your fishing pole and relax! We have Kayaks and life jackets available upon request at no charge (life jackets required!). Enjoy some time on the hammocks by the river or step into the hot tub on the deck over looking the river. Please note we do have a video camera overlooking the driveway as well as overlooking the stairway and river bank below the river cottage.

If you are an avid fisherman , Skier, or just want total relaxation. The cabin sits right on the North Toe River. 2 BR fully furnished cabin is so comfy and cozy with every detail thought of. The hot tub with the view of the river & the firepit with wood furnished is a great way to spend the day outdoors… hiking, Fly fishing, tubing , kayaking or just relaxing watching for wildlife that happens by is a great way to spend the day. Dining, winery’s , skiing & shopping close by.

Escape to the Blue Ridge Mountains and enjoy your own piece of oasis. The Pond House sits on 6 acres along with our home, with a beautiful spring-fed pond, with mountain views. Relax outside in the hot tub for some stargazing, or read a good book on the porch and enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee or glass of wine.
