You can even go explore the local hiking and river swimming hole down the road at Pedernales Falls State Park. Small town Texas living at its finest!

The Deer Haven Ranch Cottage 4 Beds

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis on a working ranch. Built in the late 1800's. Immigrant family homestead. The Indians use to meet under the large oak trees in the front yard. The cottage is about a 5 minute drive to town, so you have the advantage of being peacefully out in the country enjoy the dark night sky full of stars. There are 3 AC window units in the Cottage, the Living room, the Master and the Kitchen, the house easily cools to 70 degrees on a hot day.

Amustus Ranch

On forty acres between Johnson City and Pedernales Falls Park, the cabin offers a private light filled space in the heart of all the fun of the Texas Hill Country. Only 3 miles from Pedernales Falls Park, Amustus Ranch is near all that the Hill Country has to offer. Nature adventures, wine tasting,and more are all within a short drive of this secluded spot. And, on the breezy deck you can enjoy star gazing. This property is not suitable for children under five years of age.

We have 18 hole disc golf, yoga dome, hammocks, trails, book room, fossil hunting, a Spring (rain dependent), etc! The land provides an opportunity to connect with Nature.
