Less than 10 minutes from Indiana Dunes National Park and Lake Michigan, our beautiful log cabin sits on 2 acres while still being in the heart of Portage! Our large front deck overlooks state land giving a beautiful, private view out of our large windows. Our cozy cabin has 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms with fun, thoughtful touches for your family including video game consoles, movies, books, a LOT of games, a pool/ping pong table, 2 fire pits, and more! No matter the occasion- this lodge-like cabin is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway or retreat. Enjoy a hike through the property, a cozy fire or explore one of the state parks nearby. Located just 15 minutes from downtown Oregon and 15 minutes from Dixon.

Cabin Getaway

Enjoy your stay at this private, cabin retreat equipped with EV charging station, spacious rooms for everyone. This home is not childproofed, please feel free to bring your own childproofing supplies. Cook meals on your own time in the full size kitchen, or enjoy the cozy wood burning stove in the living room or in the recreational space in the lower level with pool table and full size bar for your enjoyment. Pool is open during the Summer season. There is no isolation fence please supervise.

Go from city life to country life, just “90” minutes from Chicago. This is a great place to relax & unwind. Due to location & your carrier you must be patient with our WiFi.

Lazy Bear Lodge

Let your worries melt away in this spacious and serene cabin get-away. The cabin is located on Grand Bear Lodge Property, which has an indoor water park (admission to water park NOT included, but public day passes are an option if the lodge is not at full capacity), making this the perfect place for families to stay! The property also backs up to starved rock state park, for those seeking more adventure and nature during their stay. Come find peace and tranquility in this cozy cabin hideout!

Relax in a rural setting of 175 acres and enjoy the beautiful views over our 6 acre pond. Take a swim at a sandy beach, raft down our new 100 foot slip and slide, slide, and diving board. There is a wood dock for fishing and a concrete dock with large gazebo for sunbathing. Enjoy hiking paths, sit by the outdoor fire cook up some smores and watch the stars. Family gatherings of up to 25. Rain won't ruin your party! Plenty of room inside and in the garage with large tables and chairs.

Knotty Pine Cabin, sister to Porcupine Cabin, has a large entertaining space, perfect for getting everyone around our large dining room table for a group meal. The full kitchen is equipped with all you need to prepare and serve a great dinner. After dinner step outside and enjoy sitting around the fire making smores. In the backyard there is private lawn furniture, a fire ring and grill. Enjoy the large grassy common area for lawn games, relaxing or even a game of flag football.
