A unique chance to live in a beautiful Schoolhouse from the 1880s, located in Värmland. The house is located on a farm and we live next to the Schoolhouse but with a distance that makes it feel private for both. The Schoolhouse has its own private garden and a big porch with a lake view. We arrange different packages of hiking, that includes breakfast, lunch or dinner in an outside setting. 3 bedrooms available in a sunny family home nestled in a small suburb only a 5-minute drive from Karlstad centre. There are buses to town centre readily available. It is also an easy 25-minute walk or a 10-minute cycle along the banks of the river Klarälven. The house is set in a quiet neighborhood close to the river. You will not share the house with other guests but I stay in the basement during your stay. I have a nice outside cat and a friendly dog who also stays with me in the basement.

Välkommen till en vacker stuga direkt vid Vänerns strand. Det är ca 50 metern från stuga till sjö och en egen altan nere vid sjön. Intill stugan finns gräsmattor och en egen trevlig tomt. Stugan har en stor altan mot vattnet. Det finns tre stugor på tomten. De ligger intill varandra. -Storstuga med kök, vardagsrum och sovrum med dubbelsäng. -Sidohus med toalett och dusch. -Timmerstuga med ytterligare två sovplatser. Alla ingår i din bokning. Max 4 gäster. Hyresperiod minst 3 nätter.

House 40 meters from lake Vänern. Completely renovated during 2018. A small boat can be used by the guest. (not during november-april due to ice) Equipped with all modern things like AC, fiber internet, etc. There is one double bed in the main bedroom. In the guest room there is 2 beds. An inflatable bed could be used if you need more beds. There is also a small guest house with a room. You can relax, take a swim or walk in the forest. It’s as relaxing during summer as during winter.

Welcome to our cozy cabin! Nestled by the edge of a peaceful pool, you'll find a hot tub that comfortably accommodates up to five people, offering a stunning panoramic view of the lake. The jacuzzi and sauna is available year-round. The swimming pool is open until 6th of October, perfect for cooling off during warmer months. We also provide two paddleboards. Nature is just outside your door and in the evening you will watch the sun set over the lake. We look forward to welcoming you!

Stuga med anor från 1800 talet på en gård i Alsters bygd i närhet till nationalskalden Gustaf Frödings idylliska uppväxtmiljö. Från stugan ses skogen och åkrarna och belägen mellan sjöarna Gapern och Alstern görs detta boende till en fantastisk utgångspunkt för att njuta fiske, vandringar, cykling, ridning och andra lokala upplevelser av spirande företagande som finns i området. Med bil nås Karlstad och stadslivet på endast 10 minuter. Sängkläder, handdukar och städning ingår i priset.

A beautiful place surrounded by forest and overlooking large meadows, pastures and a glittering lake. Lillstugan offers modern accommodation in inspiring surroundings. Hike, bike, barbecue and enjoy the sun on the patio, take a ride on the rowing boat, fish, sauna (35 Euro) and enjoy the outdoor shower. Here are many opportunities for wonderful moments!

FredrikLars-gården vid Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården i anslutning till Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 1800-tal eller äldre. I denna gård lär den store uppfinnaren John Ericssons farfar Nils (f. 1747 – d. 1790) ha bott. På en sten i gårdens grund ska en inristning med Nils namn finnas. Bild på denna sten finns i Värmlandsarkivs fotarkiv på en bild från 1955 (foto Lennart Thelander, bilderna SEVA_11229_36 och SEVA_11230-1), men har inte kunnat hittats i nutid. Troligen är den dold av murbruk som har täckts över stenarna.
