Above the Botanic Gardens, our quiet, spacious, character-filled apartment is only a 5 minute drive (25 minute walk for the fit) down to the CBD. A regular bus service to the city is metres away from our home. Our street has free parking, spectacular views of the city, and a park opposite with tennis courts. We welcome you with complementary teas and breakfast supplies. Suitable for singles, couples, small groups and families, just message us with the number of beds you need for your stay.

Importantly- you must provide your own transport as there is no public transport to Makara from Karori the nearest suburb, some 9.5 kms away. Makara is true NZ countryside with a windy, narrow road to match!.

You can enjoy the relaxing sound of a flowing stream and tranquil bush setting surrounded by mountain bike park and walks yet just 15 minutes from the heart of the city. This apartment is separated from the main house, so you will have a complete autonomy. Bus service is very convenient and frequent and there is off-street parking available as well

Tui House

A perfect spot to stay for bush-walkers and mountain bikers or for sport or music fans in Wellington for a game or a concert. You’ll see tui and kereru and hear ruru at night. Otari Wilton Bush is over the road, Zealandia 2km away, and it’s a 10-min drive to Makara Peak. You've got a dedicated off road car park and you're 30 metres from a bus that runs at least every 30 minutes every day. You can cook, do laundry, and iron if you want to.

Nestled within Marsden Village at the city end of Karori, this townhouse has everything you would like for a treat weekend away or holiday stay in Wellington city. Guests are very welcome to make themselves at home. The CBD is approximately 10 minutes away by car. There is a bus stop at the end of the drive with a very convenient timetable. Buses run from very early in the morning until late at night.

The suite overlooks the garden and the courtyard where you can relax in privacy and enjoy the sun in the afternoons.The neighbourhood enjoys plenty of birdsong in the mornings and evenings.
