Unique Rustic Adirondack Cabin

This is a unique rustic cabin on a private dirt road nestled on a mountain brook in the forest adjoining the Giant Mountain Wilderness Area. This small (200 sq ft + 80 sq ft sleeping loft), Adirondack style cabin was completely refurbished this past year using locally sourced woods and built by hand. Located two miles from downtown Keene Valley, and at 1800 feet, this is an ideal place for those who prefer the quiet forest, the peaceful sound of a mountain brook, and possibily seeing animals.

The ideal home base for exploration, right in Keene, center of the High Peaks. Set back off the main strip, this space provides privacy in town. With unrivalled proximity to the mountains, dining and shops are steps away. Resting after exploration is effortless here. With a suspended loft net in a vaulted living space, natural light pours in, while a propane fireplace ensures relaxation. Mountain View / Trailhead Cabin

The view of Marcy is amazing. The sound of the brook below is magical. The short walk to one of the main trailheads in the high peaks is a sought-after plus, given the dearth of parking there. Hikers feel at home amidst the mountaineering history reflected in the books and in the photos and paintings on the walls. The cabin is eco-friendly throughout: organic sheets and towels, wool blankets, wool rugs (except one), green soaps and cleaning products, mini-splits, energy-saving lighting.

Yinzer House - Whiteface Lake Placid Hiking Skiing

Unwind in your mountain escape! This modern one-bedroom home is your perfect basecamp for exploring the Adirondacks. Surrounded by mountains, you're just a short drive from Lake Placid, the high peaks, and Whiteface Mountain. Inside, cozy up by the fireplace with a good book or challenge friends to a friendly retro arcade showdown. After a day of adventure, grill up dinner and enjoy the starry sky by the fire pit. With a plethora of board games, there's always something fun to do.

The Covered Bridge Cottage- Ausable Riverfront

Situated directly by the Ausable River and surrounded by beautiful vineyards and gardens you will be immersed in nature at any time if the year. It's sure to restore the soul. The gentle rumble of the river is ever present as you look out over the natural beauty. During the summer cool off in the river and come back to the screened in porch for an evening meal. In the winter fire up the pellet stove and get cozy. 15 minutes to Whiteface and Keene and 25 Minutes to Lake Placid.

The Shepherd's Crook at Blue Pepper Farm

Tucked in the woods on our working sheep farm, our off-grid tiny house is the perfect escape and stepping stone into the Adirondack mountains for hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing. Enjoy the coziness of the Crook between forays into our north country wilderness! What you will find: adventure, peace, quiet, woodstove, candles, down blanket, fire pit, privacy, composting outhouse, firewood for sale. **Please note there is NO electricity and NO running water. Akin to glamping!

This cabin is set in a gorgeous, tree-rimmed meadow directly on John's Brook, just 1/2 mile from the village of Keene Valley. Miles of trails are outside your door for your summer or winter enjoyment. Fly fish in the brook just steps from the house or climb Marcy and the range from the front door! The cabin is cozy in the winter with wifi, a fully equipped kitchen and modern amenities. You will enjoy the entire property to yourself in a truly serene setting.

Four season log cabin in the heart of the Adirondack High Peaks region. The cabin is located on 7 private acres next to a beautiful stream that flows down from Cascade Lake. Both Porter and Cascade Mountain trailheads are less than a mile away and are on the 46 High Peaks register. Close proximity to hiking adventures for all abilities- biking trails, fishing, swimming, canoeing and during the winter months: downhill and cross-country ski activities.
