The America Room is named after America Dickinson, the sister of Thomas Childs Dickinson who first bought the house. Historically recognized both locally and Nationally. Experience history in the horse country! Built in 1843 one of the oldest standing homes in Lexington. Built as a bed and breakfast history suggests Abraham Lincoln stayed in the home once upon a time. The underground railroad stopped here, marked by the now 200 year old towering Oak tree. The floor plan allows for large scale entertaining and separates public from private spaces.
