Little Minka. A serene Japanese folk house nestled on 10 acres of private woodland and streams. Embracing the Wabi-Sabi, Little Minka is unique, handcrafted using Japanese traditional carpentry joinery methods. Soaring ceilings, shoji, and tatami complete the interior. Outside there's a fire pit, open cooking area. We have a wood fired hot tub available on request from March - November. We have Japanese bathroom products in partnership with sowakanyc that guests can experience.

Nestled amongst the trees below Bonticou Crag this is a great base camp for climbing, hiking and biking. Five minutes from New Paltz; I do recommend having a car to access the area. Shared yard and fire pit right outside. My family and I live in the main part of the house. The outside area and house are still under construction, I’m working on it but its not put together yet. The apartment and inside area are clean and newly built with their own mini split and air circulation.

A gorgeous, spacious and secluded retreat with a fabulous swimming/skating pond and two wood-burning stoves surrounded by 135 acres of meadow and hiking trails, and a short jaunt to miles of untouched wilderness. This 160-year-old farmhouse is super cozy in winter and can easily accommodate large groups but offers plenty of privacy. The home has lots of character on a sustainable farm adjacent to the Mohonk Preserve & 7 miles to Minnewaska State Park.
