The kitchenette has been kept simple yet functional. Kettle, fridge, toaster & microwave. . . Lets face it, after being stuck in the house for months, this is the perfect excuse to order in or test our amazing local pubs ! Sorry no kids/infants. Steep access/stairs to the loft. The Cottage at 15th century Sparket Mill

This is the old miller’s cottage of a 15th century mill, situated in secluded part of the Northern Lake District National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site. Stay in a unique one bedroom apartment , with its own private entrance, bedroom upstairs with a kingsize bed. There is a downstairs lounge and en-suite. Situated on the corner of a river, surrounded by wildlife and wildflower meadows, only 5 minutes from the shores of Ullswater and 15 from the mountain ranges of Helvellyn and Blencathra.

Our self contained studio is in the heart of the Lake District National Park in north west England. It has stunning valley, forest and woodland views from the window. Our nearest town is Keswick 5 miles by bus, boat, boot or car. We're in a perfect location for walks, water sports, touring villages, or just sitting back to relax! We provide all our guests with our 'walks from the door' which we have written ourselves: 12 walks of varying lengths that you can enjoy straight out of the gate.

The Barn @ Beck Mill

Situated in the beautiful Eden Valley which lies between the Lake District and the Northern Pennines, we have converted an 17th Century barn into a modern chic, cosy, private one-bedroom apartment perfect for a luxurious getaway to this beautiful corner of the UK. The spacious apartment has a king-sized bed, one bathroom with a walk-in shower and an open plan kitchen and living room. There is WiFi ( but it can be intermittent due to our rural location) TV and DVD player.

Apt.2 is a modern apartment with bohemian style decor and a relaxed feel. It is set across the 1st floor of a three storey townhouse which is situated on a pretty pedestrian street; the ground floor accommodating a lively cafe bar that is popular with tourists and locals alike. The property is just a short stroll to either Lake Derwentwater or the Keswick market square which is home to many shops, bars and restaurants. All pets are welcome with plenty of walks nearby!

Dorothy’s place Bowness on Windermere

Dorothy’s place is part of an 18th Century Villa. Adults only no children allowed. Everything you need for that perfect romantic break. Guests get full use of the large garden and woodland to take in the stunning view. If travelling by train our advice would be get a taxi from the station as can be difficult to find on foot . Guests are welcome to park up as early as you want before check in or drop luggage off in a safe place,but please let us know in advance.
