Situated in the lovely village of Portinscale this warm detached family home provides everything you might want to enjoy a stay in the Lake District. We are situated 5 minutes walk from Derwent Water and the Nicol End Marina for kayaking and water activities. Portinscale has a pub that serves food and a cafe. Our favourite eating places nearby are Swinside Inn and the Ivy Restaurant in Braithwaite. Keswick is a mere 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk for eating out, shopping and outdoor sports.

The Barn is a beautifully refurbished retreat in a quiet corner of the Lake District National Park. Built in c.1870 as part of How Farm, The Barn is a very comfortable self-contained space which sleeps two adults and two children. It has a small garden, unique open living space incorporating the kitchen and lounge, lobby, shower room and large bedroom. The Barn is in a countryside location yet gives easy access to all the North West Lakes and the lesser known but very scenic West Coast.

Welcome to our comfortable refurbished one bedroom ground floor apartment. We have recently undertaken a further upgrade to improve the property, replacing the bathroom, flooring and putting in fire doors. The flat, is not only located in Keswick’s town centre, it has the advantage of private off street parking, with amenities and shops, including the wealth of restaurants and bars a couple of minutes walk away. Morven Cottage is a two bedroom holiday cottage within 5 minutes walk of Keswick town centre with private parking and an outdoor patio area. The warm and comfortable accommodation sleeps up to four guests (plus a cot) and was recently extensively refurbished. Changeover days are typically Monday and Friday. One or two well-behaved dogs (restricted to downstairs and not allowed on the furniture) are welcome. Smoking is not permitted in the cottage. 10% off for full week bookings.

Beautifully restored in early 2024, the property offers outdoor seating areas at both the front of the house and in the paved back garden and is the ideal base to explore the spectacular Lake District all year round.

Welcome to Crook a Beck Barn, Patterdale a former Cart Barn which we lovingly restored during 2017. The Barn is located on the original coach road in the hamlet of Crook a Beck, next to the village of Patterdale, in the heart of the Lake District, in one of the most beautiful Lake District valleys. During peak season - April to the end of October, 7 nights minimum stay with a Friday changeover. Short breaks may be available so please drop us a message to ask!
