A beautiful Red brick and stone house recently constructed in the serene, green coastal Konkan village of Thal with the beach a few minutes walking from our place. The house is surrounded by coconut groves, mature mango trees and a lovely lawn. The home built in traditional Konkan style has used teak wood from a 100 year old bungalow and all materials and labour have been sourced locally. You can enjoy walks around the farm and nearby villages, a dip in the pool, or just put up your feet with a book. All this just 2.5 hours drive from Mumbai.
