Find your home away from home in our quaint cottage nestled between the River Barrow and The Grand Canal. Take a stroll or cycle along the famous 46km stretch of The Barrow Blueway or cast your fishing rod into the world of coarse fishing on the Grand Canal. Why not take a walk into town across the Aqueduct and visit some of our favourites such as Mooneys & Brennans or snuggle up to a log burning stove. The local Kids playground is a 5 minute stroll away should the kids need some play time.

Herd's cottage is a unique cottage, full of original features and charm. It has a history dating back over 200 years and has now been fully modernised to make what is a spacious, warm and peaceful holiday get away. It has ample parking right outside the door.
