Annie the A-Frame

Welcome to our Tranquil A-Frame Cottage! Relax, refocus and rejuvenate at this newly refurbished chalet perched on a secluded hill surrounded by evergreens. The perfect spot to disconnect from the hustle/bustle and technology. Modern amenities include gas fireplace, A/C, washer/dryer, TV, Record Player, DVD Player. Connect with nature, snuggle up by the fireplace, read a book, play a board game or listen to some vinyl and unwind. There is NO INTERNET but there is spotty LTE/cell service.

One of a kind Log Cabin - natural raw wood feel and look. Hardwood floor, ceramic tile\new shower. Great for Winter stays, the wood stove keeps it very warm. AC keeps it cool in the Summer, 3 piece bathroom with new shower, furnished living\dining room, kitchen: electric stove\oven, new fridge\freezer, new microwave, new toaster, coffee maker, utensils, pots and pans. Patio furniture provided outside, porch overlooking the river, fire pit, picnic table, propane BBQ. 150 acres, forest & trails.

This rustic, solar cabin has it's own private hiking trail(100m, steep hill) and private parking area. The trail winds it's way up to your private view overlooking Golden Lake. You will feel tucked away in this cozy spot surrounded by mixed oak forest, sitting atop Canadian Shield rock formations. The shallow entry makes it safe for children to swim, and we're pet-friendly with a gated deck for privacy and safety. Explore the river with paddle boats, kayaks, and paddle boards for a relaxed beach vibe experience. It’s a fantastic place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Ottawa River! located an hour and a half from Ottawa, and 10 minutes from Pembroke.

CABIN over pond + hiking to WATER FALLS & lookouts

THE KABINKA No service, no electricity, no plumbing, no problems "Kabinka" is the name of our eastern European inspired Chalet. She is unadorned, a simple off-grid shelter for your wilderness retreat. Configured equally for a large party of family/friends, or for a couple's weekend away (groups over 4 are charged more) Outside is a growing network of trails, winding along Rockingham Creek and surrounding hills, with views of our hobby farm and spectacular waterfalls.

Rose Door Cottage

Quaint and cozy 1 bedroom cottage tucked along the southeastern shore of a small, quiet lake. Recently renovated, the cottage is the perfect romantic getaway. It's located 1 km from snowmobile/ATV trails, 15 minutes from Bancroft and 45 minutes from Algonquin Park. The cottage includes a floating dock with swim ladder, bbq, woodburning outdoor firepit, canoe, kayaks, woodburning indoor fireplace, smart tv with starlink satellite.

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
