Extraordinary waterfront cottage sitting elevated above Castlehaven strand looking towards Castletownshend bay and Reen Point. Elegant seaside decoration in a blissfully quiet romantic spot while in the middle of West Corks beautiful scenery and local food. A short walk to the historic village with 3 Harry Clarke windows in the church above the Castle & Castletownshend harbour. Drombeg, Lough Hind , Baltimore are a short drive away or simply enjoy the beautiful peace &quiet, water sports & walks

Cosy coastal eco-cabin with stunning ocean views

This snug, grass-roofed eco-cabin offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a warm Irish welcome, mountain walks on the Beara Way or snorkelling through nearby reefs. Sample local cheeses, lamb, fish and seafood or stoke up the wood-burning stove, have a glass of wine and and savour the peace and tranquillity! Word of warning: we are VERY remote, (1km off the road down a rough track). With almost no public transport, own transport (eg car) is highly recommended - see Getting Around!

Ilen River Cottage

Ilen Cottage is a peaceful hide away, for two, on the edge of the Ilen Estuary. With access to the water sailing, kayaking, swimming good, observe sea birds, seals and otters. Walking and exploring islands are also popular activities here. The cottage is 15mins from Skibbereen and Ballydehob and a perfect base for exploring beautiful West Cork. This is self catering accommodation so best to pick up your provisions in Skibbereen and experience the many restaurants in Ballydehob and around.

This newly renovated 150 year old building has a comprehensive modern kitchen and dining area, while maintaining a country cottage atmosphere. Situated on a small farm, it offers seclusion while only being a few minutes drive from many local attractions.
