Apple House - an exquisite bohemian retreat

Apple House is a quiet retreat, a much loved space where you can completely unwind. Standing in the garden of Hylands, a fine Arts and Crafts House, to the West of Kendal, it is decorated using quality local materials and skills of local crafts people. It has beautiful views to the wildlife garden; pond, kitchen garden and the hills beyond. It is 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops, cafes and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub 'The Rifleman's Arms'.

Close by are picturesque strolls along the river, and walks into the hills are literally just up the road. A great base for the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales .

The deep pool below the falls is ideal for cold-water swimming. Perfect for a romantic getaway, or watching abundant birds and wildlife, for honeymoons, anniversaries or engagements! Private parking at the rear & the village car park has several EV charging points if needed. A short walk to the village stores, The Sun Inn, cafe bars & The Heritage Centre & Cafe.

Lune Valley, Luxury Tanner Bank Cottage, Hot Tub

The Newly Refurbished (May 2024) Luxury Tanner Bank Cottage is situated within the quaint hamlet of Farleton in the heart of Lancashire’s Lune Valley. We hope to provide guests with a comfortable yet memorable home from home experience. The cottage offers spectacular views over the Lune Valley from an elevated hilltop position. Take it easy at this unique, tranquil and luxurious getaway. The Fenwick Arms gastro pub is situated a short 6 minute walk away.

Burton in Lonsdale - a lovely countryside cottage.

This charming stone built cottage is situated in Burton in Lonsdale, near Kirkby Lonsdale and the Yorkshire 3 peaks. The cottage sleeps 4 people. 1 family bathroom and WC downstairs. The Lounge has a cosy feel with a real log burner, smart TV and fibre broadband. The small kitchen has a breakfast bar that seats up to 4 people. Roadside parking is available on a first come, first served basis.
