Cozy and comfortable former farm house located between the neighbouring towns of Vík and Kirkjubæjarklaustur on the south coast. Only 45 km from Vík and 30 km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The house is in a quiet area of the main road with beautiful scenery all around. The house is perfect for families and friends travelling together. It is a perfect base-camp while exploring the south coast of Iceland with all its amazing waterfalls and visiting the magnificent Glacier Lagoon Jökulsárlón.

The house is at a perfect spot in southern Iceland where you can drive to the main attractions in the area such as Fjaðrárgljúfur, Vatnajökull, Diamond beach, and more. Frá húsinu er bæði útsýni að Vatnajökli og Mýrdalsjökli.

Kársstaðir

Kársstaðir is nicely located only 5 minutes from the town Kirkjubæjarklaustur. It is a 25 year old summerhouse that we have renovated to more modern, yet romantic Scandinavian farm house decor. The location is quite unique, in the middle of volcanic pseudos with a perfect view over Vatnajökull to the east and Mýrdalsjökull to the west.

Small Cozy Cabin just 5km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur town. Nearly in the middle between Vik (Reynisfjara) and Jokulsarlon (Glacier lagoon) The cabin is in a unique landscape called Pseudo Craters. "Landbrotshólar". It is a unique volcanic landform. Remote yet close to small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

Our warm and cozy home has three small bedrooms — two with queen beds (160 cm) and one with a double (140 cm). The house includes a well-equipped kitchenette, a spacious living room, and a bathroom with a shower. Fresh towels and bedding provided.

Fossar Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located in a cove by a lava field and a small creek. It is 44m2 groundfloor and was built in 1962 and I renovated it in 2015. It is located on our farm Fossar , 15km away from village Kirkjubæjarklaustur by road 204.
