We find it hard to leave the deck, but if you like adventures, there's kayaking, fishing, and hiking right out the door! Redwoods, empty beaches, sand dunes, and more within a 20min drive!

Cottage on River Farm -Applegate Wine Trail

Classic one-room cottage on a 5-acre micro-farm, on the Applegate River near vineyards. This cozy cottage is a mini farm-stay experience with goats & chickens along the Applegate Valley Wine Trail. Walk to Red Lily Vineyards! Enjoy the private firepit (when not in wildfire season) with complimentary s’mores kit or walk down to the river and breath. Quaint cottage nestled in a fruit orchard, near the beautiful Trinity river. The cottage is set in a quiet pastoral setting that borders always green pastures. There is a seasonal garden lot by the House as well as an orchard where guests can pick fruit in season, surrounded by a view is of the breathtaking forested Trinity Mountains. Come enjoy the fresh air and clear stars! We are also cleaning the cabin using the CDC - Airbnb cleaning protocol to ensure the safety of our guests!

Just down the steps across the OUTDOOR LIVING ROOM, step into the "Shower Grotto", inside an Old Growth Redwood Stump with a Rain Shower.

Whether you spend the day hiking to the peak of Castle Crags or snowboarding at Mt. Shasta Ski Park, you'll come home to a cozy wood-burning stove. The PCT is an 8 minute drive, Mt. Shasta City is a 8-10 min drive, and McCloud/Mt. Shasta Ski Park is just a 20-25 beautiful drive.
