Stroll the 27-acrewoods and sip tea by the glass mosaic fireplace. Crawl into the cozy bednook and read a book written by JRR Tolkien. Enjoy the silence and the sounds of nature as you've found your fantasy getaway.

Twin Oaks is an updated doublewide home perched on a basalt knoll with 11 beautiful acres overlooking vineyards and the Columbia River. Views include river and gorge to the west and north. In springtime see waterfalls on the Washington cliffs. Located 8 miles east of Hood River, Twin Oaks is near Mosier on scenic Hwy 30. This is in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, with nearby hiking, biking, watersports, boat ramp, & ski areas. Enjoy the numerous wineries and local microbrews in the area.

This little house started life as a woodworking shop. When we outgrew it, we made it into a guest house. It may be imperfect, but it's perfectly adorable. We have a peek of Mt. Hood from the yard and lovely territorial views. At night, you can enjoy the beauty of a Milky Way sky far from city light pollution. Come. Enjoy. Relax. We designed and built our White Salmon Retreat to be a family-friendly, pet-friendly ($20/pet) and therapeutic space set in the trees where your soul can find rest and relaxation. Our Retreat is surrounded by mature Fir, Oak, and Maple trees and frequented by the local wildlife. We are excited to share this space with you. Fully stocked kitchen! We use scent-free laundry soap and cleaning supplies. Washer/Dryer. Deck with fire pit table and gas grill. Nectar mattress is SO COMFORTABLE!

We are so fortunate to have a view so special that we wanted to build a guest house for our friends and you! We designed our 600 square foot modern guest house with the intent of creating a very private honeymoon suite. Cabin 43 is a new home we built ourselves located right on the wild and scenic White Salmon river. We finished this project (June, 2020) and are excited to share this beautiful place with guests. It features a King bed in 1 room and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom which can be pushed together to make a 2nd king bed. We live in a cluster of 8 other cabins down gravel road in a very serene forest setting with a large field out front and private river side walking trails.
