Cottages at Oakland Seashore (Cottage #8)

Nestled on 70 acres of oceanfront property in Rockport, Maine, the cottages at Oakland Seashore are the perfect choice for a romantic getaway, vacation with friends, or a family gathering. Formerly the Oakland Seashore Motel & Cabins, I recently purchased the property and have decided to rent a few of the cottages this summer and fall on a weekly basis. Reminiscent of a bygone era, these cottages are simple and provisioned with the basics, but have the most remarkable ocean views.

Seaside House/Upstairs

Enjoy everything coastal Maine has to offer with this as your home base. The views are outstanding and the house is well appointed and well maintained. This house encompasses the second and third floors, with great ocean views. The first floor is a separate apartment. The property has a large back yard to relax or play in and a dedicated BBQ. The house sits across the street from Clam Cove and is not directly on the beach. Beach access is private, quick and easy.

Beautiful upstairs suite with private entrance. Queen bed offers views of Mt Battie. Living room with TV (dvd and cd player). Kitchenette includes sink, microwave, small fridge, and coffee pot. Coffee and light snacks available. Private bath with shower. Quiet and convenient location, close to town. Within walking distance to shops, restaurants, parks, and harbor. Short drive will bring you to Camden Hills State park for hiking and site seeing.

Romantic Island Cabin on Forested Shorefront

This is a salt-air cabin-lover's delight, freshly built in 2019 on a forested slope with peek-a-boo views of the water. Note: It is entirely off the grid, with no plumbing. Rain-barrel showers and a cute one-hole privy are part of the fun. Otherwise, it's pretty cush, with luxurious sheets and linens on a high-quality queen bed with down pillows and mattress topper. Galley kitchen is fully equipped. Solar phone chargers.

The House at Orr Cove

Spacious home on Cape Rosier’s Orr Cove, with spectacular views to the west of Penobscot Bay and Maine’s unique rugged coast. An ideal location for seaside activities, where families can enjoy picnics and bonfires on the beach, kids can search for starfish and sand dollars, and adventurers can set off in kayaks to explore the coast and nearby islands.

Oceanfront GLAMPING. This truly unique waterside cabin is literally just feet from the ocean! If you want to be "on the water" then this is your spot...! You enter by walking down the expansive yard to the cabin (about 200 feet). The indoor bathroom, hot tub, and deck are at the main house where you park.
