ECONUT FARMHOUSE Econut farmhouse is located on the Palani to Kodaikanal road, about 16 km before you reach Kodaikanal town. The farmhouse is conveniently located next to the road, yet hidden from view and private. It is in a quiet area with very few houses around, and in the midst of an organic farm. There is a panoramic view of the valley below, with the plains visible for about 200 km, on clear days. Our caretaker couple will attend to all your needs, including preparation of meals.

Enjoy our serene studio home, in the midst of nature and at the same time in a prime location. We are pet friendly. We are located close to the lake, in a quiet leafy lane, by the Lower Shola forest. The Kodai lake is a 3 minute walk. The main town / shops / cafes is a 10-15 minute walk. Cabs are easily available. The bus depot is a 10 minute walk. Private deluxe buses to Bangalore and Chennai are a 7 minute walk. Bicycle rentals are a 7 minute walk.

Lake Shore has 2 bedrooms with attached bathrooms and a living/ dining a small verandah and a kitchenette. Very central and overlooking the lake with good privacy. Cable TV and High speed Internet. Caretaker lives on the premises. Guests can do their own cooking or ask the caretaker to provide simple homestyle cooking at nominal rates. Good quality linen and basic cooking utensils and plates etc are audi provided.

A beautiful Cabin nestled in between trees. The deck opens to the valley below. Spacious and mostly Phone signal free for a complete detachment from the busy life! Access to the property: We are located inside a forest and so the last 1km is an off road, accessible only by 4x4 vehicles. We have private parking.
