The cottage is 2brm, self-contained, wood fire heater and big outdoor fireplace, lots of space, lots of quiet, 2.5 hours from Brisbane & the Coast, big verandas overlooking the scenic valley. Screen-free zone: no tv, no phone reception, no wi-fi, no 240 v power (all gas and solar powered). Full kitchen for cooking, dining inside or out, 1 queen room, 1 queen + single room.

Lots of swings in trees, creeks, gentle cows in paddocks, outdoor and indoor fireplaces with spectacular views up and down the gorge. Located in the beautiful Scenic Rim under two hours drive from Brisbane. There is also currently no mobile reception (plus for some, negative for others!), but there is a free landline phone.
