都の関は茶室もある古民家、星空や朝日が素敵な二階の洋室「旭飛」

約500年前、日向の国を治めた伊東氏の本城で有った「都於郡城跡」の近くに民泊「都ノ関」があります。宿の名前の「都ノ関」は、祖父の代まで焼酎の醸造をしており、当時造っていた焼酎の銘柄です。 都ノ関には「彦星」「織姫」「洋室」「旭飛」の個室4部屋で最大8名宿泊可能です。 事前予約が必要ですが地元のブランド肉を使用したベーコンづくりが体験出来ます。そのベーコンを使った料理もおいしく感じます 料理は西都産の新鮮な食材を使い、自家製の味噌や柿酢などの調味料での味付けが好評です。また、一緒に料理して食べれば郷土料理などの懐かしいレシピもお土産に出来ます。 お風呂は、薪を割って沸かして入ることもできます。 共用ですがトイレは２箇所と洗面所は3箇所自由に使用出来ます。 寝室の和室以外に８畳の茶室もありますので、体験メニューの中で地元の和菓子を使った表千家流の茶道体験も楽しめます。 城跡の山道や川沿いを自分のペースで歩くフットパスも人気。 夜になると隣家や灯りが少ないので、満天の星空も楽しめます。基本有料ですがここならではの、いろいろな体験を用意している「都ノ関」で、ゆっくりした時間を堪能しませんか。
