Rietkuil Farm Cottage (SELF CATERING)

Rietkuil is a third generation working - cattle, sheep and maize farm. Get away from the city rush and surround yourself with nature. Apart from the numerous farm activities, like milking cows the old fashioned way, there’s also 3000 ha to explore, cool off in the “plaasdam” and take a short walk down to the Otterspruit for a game of “kleilat” or try your hand at catching cat fish. Remember to pack your farm shoes, a good book, binoculars, excellent coffee and an expectation to wind down.

House Musantwi is equipped with backup power and water, ensuring you remain relatively comfortable during outages.

Enjoy a lovely farm stay and relax in this spacious and serene space. You can gather around the massive kitchen table while the Esse stove warms you up or stroll through the fields where the Bonsmara cattle are grazing. The Manor House overlooks a water pan - just the best spot for sundowners or birdwatching. The Farm is a quick 2 hour 30 mins drive from Jhb on the N1 highway with a slightly challenging last 35km tar road with some potholes from Kroonstad.

Comfortable self catering gardenflat unit situated on the owners property. It is ideal for a family breakaway. The unit sleeps 3 on a comfortable doublebed and sleepercouch. It has a small equiped kitchen with microwave, fridge and a kettle. There is a new clean bathroom with a shower. The unit has a private entry and there is uncovered safe parking behind a remote gate.

Family apartment

The family unit is nice for a family, there are 2 bedrooms, 1 with double bed and 1 with 2 single beds and a sleepingcouch as big as a double bed. There is a fridge and microwe and aircon. We have Wi-Fi and Tv with 4 channels. There is lots of space for the children to play and swimming pool too.

Blackwood Farmstay

You'll love this unique and romantic escape. Blackwood farmstay overlooks a beautiful dam with birdlife and memorable sunsets. The fireplace sets to tone for the best winter breakaway. This open-plan cottage has a "stoep" with a wonderful view. The self-catering kitchen also has a view on the dam.

These free-standing duplex units have an upstairs bedroom with a king-size bed. It has a private bathroom with a shower. Downstairs is a lounge area with a sofa bed and a well-equipped kitchenette. Each unit has a covered patio with seating.
