The Nellie

The Nellie is a four-season houseboat, located in the wilderness of the Gatineau River; a boat-in location in summer, accessed from our home parking 2kms from the boat, or via two public boat launches 10km away. We offer canoe rentals and ferry options below. Before winter, Nellie returns home to freeze into the ice; providing access by foot 30m from our home parking, and electric heat. She has a bucket toilet on board, a summer outhouse, and winter access to our shared indoor basement bathroom.

Off the beaten path, this 1,350 ft² chalet is a peaceful retreat in between two regional parks, with all-wood interiors, high ceilings, and a warm, cozy design. Fish, swim, play volleyball or badminton, or explore the two beautiful big lakes by kayak, paddle board, or electric boat. Perfect for those who want to step right into forest trails just minutes away, enjoy lake moments, and a calm, fully equipped interior with all amenities. Plus a private spa: wood-burning sauna, and outdoor hot tub.

Nearby, cycling, walking trails, horseback riding, fishing & world class whitewater rafting. Enjoy peaceful waterfront, dock & sandy beach. Welcome to our modern countryside cabin located on a 2 acre lot in Wakefield, Quebec. Come relax and recharge for a few days while taking advantage of nature and the cozy interior with fireplace. There is plenty to do nearby: discover the Wakefield village, its restaurants, boutiques, farms, the Gatineau Park, the Nordik Spa, Eco-Odyssee, the nearby golf courses and ski hills, etc. (CITQ Permit #298430. We pay all Sales and Income taxes to the prov/fed governments).

Four-season lakefront cottage with private sandy beach & boat launch only 1 hour from Ottawa on Lac de l’Argile. Beautiful wood sauna with view of the scenery. Perfect for families/ groups with 4 bedrooms + sofa beds (sleeps 12), 2 baths and all of the perks.
