A heritage homestay built in pre-Independence era, it has quintessentially British architecture and is one of the finest heritage homestays in Kud, Patnitop. After undergoing renovation in 2018, today it offers guests all the comfort of a contemporary homestay with a old heritage charm. The ground floor houses the common living-cum-dining room, kitchen and a double room with a bathroom and private balcony. The first-floor has three bedrooms, a bathroom, a cozy living room and a common balcony.

You have all the peace and privacy you need with a vantage view of leh city from the property which is on the opposite side of river indus . It has a functional kitchen a fire pit and an outdoor bar. Travelling time from leh city to the property is 20-30 mins, depending on traffic. The property has a storage room cum indoor parking place for one car. It has a green house and a garden with plantation. It is still a work in progress.

A private bedroom in a mid-60s vintage Lodge built with just stone and wood, a work of enterprising Himalayan artistry. Previously occupied by the Forest Department, the cottage has now been restored as a homestay. The list of fruiting plants and vegetables grown here is endless. Around 80% of what you will eat here is locally sourced. The Lodge offers something that is all too quickly disappearing: peace, stillness, nature and an opportunity to disconnect with the outside world.

Our stay is near the village of Sumur. Away from the usual hustle in the sand dunes of Hunder. The interiors are carefully handcrafted and a sight to behold. Quite secluded but homely. You will get simple home-cooked food, with seasonal vegetables plucked straight from our farm at times. Simple vegetarian breakfast and dinner are included. Heating charges extra during the winter months.
