Welcome to Avalon, “An Island Paradise”! Wait, what? … It’s NOT an island, but it IS a paradise! Our thoughtfully designed waterfront escape on the Sunshine Coast is ready for you to relax and let your troubles melt away. Beach access is just steps away from the door. A peak-a-boo ocean view from the SW facing deck, and hiking and bike trails, and waterfalls just short distance. The interior is carefully curated with luxurious finishes and beautiful and comfortable furnishings in every room.

Harbour House

Fun and funky artists cottage with oceanfront, and panoramic views of Ladysmith Harbour and Woodley Range Ecological Reserve. Watch otters, seals and blue Herons as you sip your morning coffee on the covered deck. Use the 2 sit on top Kayaks and paddle board, included with your stay, to explore the harbour and the small islands across from the house. We live here and our home is compliant with the laws and bylaws for our area. There is a full kitchen and open, spacious dining and living areas.

Luxury “Eagle Nest” Retreat with A/C

Welcome to fully loaded two bdrm and bathroom self contained space. Super plush luxury 1 queen and 1 king mattress, New furniture appliances, kitchen, cook top, fridge, laundry pair. 2 min drive to Southgate Plaza, where will find everything you need for a comfortable stay. 5min drive to downtown Nanaimo, Port Shopping Centre, beautiful walk around the harbour, kids playground. The bus stop is located 3 min walk. In addition, there is a 10 min drive to Departure Bay/Duke point Ferry /Airport

Raven’s Nest

An amazing place to stay. The space provided includes access to a full kitchen, full bathroom, one bedroom, and two living areas. If access to any other amenities please do not be afraid to ask. Great access to walking trails, hiking, kayaking, swimming and beach combing. A 5 min drive or a 20 min walk will bring you to the arts and crafts studios, local grocery shops, gas station, realestate offices, insurance, bakery, pizza truck, restaurants, liquor store and the local pub.

Oceanfront Home - 1bdr Suite is a separate space.

South facing, sheltered from most of the wind, walk-on oceanfront in the city! Large deck, Solarium, Hot-tub, Kayaks and stunning views (Brandon Islands, Newcastle Island Provincial Park, Birds, Seals, Otters, Boats, Fisheries Canada docks). Swim, Paddle board, Kayak, Beach comb, Picnic or just relax - beside the salt water and a patch of old forest. Nanaimo is centrally located, permitting day trips to Vancover, Victoria and even Tofino. Luke (myself) reside in the suite.
