Apartment in Historic Village Home

Our home was built in the 1830's, and the apartment added in the 1950's. The apartment has a throwback feel. We are an easy walk to restaurants, Flynn's funeral home, the school, and churches. We are minutes from the Washington County Fairgrounds. We are 1/2 an hour from the Saratoga race track, 45 minutes to Lake George, 10 minutes from Willard Mt, and an hour from great Vermont skiing! We have a full kitchen, guests say our beds are super comfy, and we have hi-speed cable and Internet!

This is a quiet country setting yet only a scenic 20 minute drive to either Saratoga Springs or Glens Falls.

Since then, we've renovated the private apartment attached to our home to accommodate guests and we hope to take our countless stays into consideration to create the best possible guest experience here in the lovely place we call home, the Adirondacks! If these walls could talk, they'd tell a story of the history of Glenville, NY! Starting as a Broom Corn Farm and then a Speakeasy during Prohibition, the original bar is located in the basement! This renovated New England-style colonial has beautifully landscaped grounds and butts up to the Mohawk River, providing privacy and views. Walking the property not only gives you a bit of exercise but allows you to take in the beautiful views and native foliage.

Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base with a simple one-block walk to Hackensack Mountain's trailhead and just minutes away from downtown Lake George attractions. This sweet 2nd level apartment is perfect for a hiking getaway or an amazing week touring breweries and wineries in the Adirondacks. Castleton Cottage

This is a newly renovated first floor one bedroom apartment. It has all the amenities of home including a walk-in shower, full kitchen, and a pull-out sofa. It is within walking distance of Lake Bomoseen and its many amenities, including boat rentals and creemees. This is a non-smoking unit. Please let us know if you have any questions.
