Gile has two bars and a restaurant within walking distance, so you won’t have to go far for some good food & drinks.

De Vier - Up North Getaway

Escape to a comfy, cozy two bedroom, one bath cabin a stones throw from the shore of Lake Gogebic. Fish, boat, and relax at the lake or tour area waterfalls, hike the trails of the Upper Peninsula, visit the Porcupine Mountains/Lake of the Clouds, or ride on the snowmobile/UTV trails. After a day exploring the UP, return to relax on the deck overlooking the lake, while star gazing and listening to the waves lap the shore of Lake Gogebic. Trailer parking, boat docking, Wi-Fi included.

1932 Lake Cottage

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. LOCATION! LOCATION! Street dead ends in front of the house and becomes short pathway to one of the largest sandy beaches of Lake Superior. 1932 cottage has been restored and renovated including a newly carpeted upstairs 400 sq ft open living and sleeping area with new bathroom overlooking the habitat of trees that separate the house from the big Lake. Main street shops and cafes are 4 blocks away.

This Lake Superior cottage is perfect for an up north get-away. Enjoy the breathtaking sunsets, strolls along the beach, swimming, kayaking or making your evenings memorable by sitting around the fire pit getting lost in the flames. This Northwoods style home is located 10 minutes from the spectacular Porcupine Mountains. 186' privately owned beach property. At 400 sq ft of living, it comfortably sleeps four with one bedroom and loft area. Two Kayaks are complimentary.
