Lakeside Retreat Coal Point

The home enjoys a commanding position on the Lake. Private access to the water is via stairs to a kayak shed and deck at the waters edge (no access to neighbours jetties). Or relax on the rear deck of the house with stunning water views. A perfect getaway for family and friends within reach of cafes, restaurants, beaches and the Hunter Valley Vineyards. Enjoy fishing, kayaking or just unwind. NB: we only accept guests with 5 star reviews (esp House Rules). No 3rd party bookings or work crews.

Explore kayaking (sit on top provided), fishing or go to nearby beaches, shopping hubs or dining spots. Our secure backyard is perfect for children. Complete with A/C, coffee m/c, fully-equipped kitchen and laundry, and accommodation up to 14 guests. Reserve now for an unforgettable holiday experience.

Absolute waterfront 3 bedroom cute family cottage!

Sleep literally 5 meters from the clear deepwater frontage great for fishing and swimming. Snorkel for a look at fish and old sandstone ballast from coal ships while eating oysters from rocks at low tide. Watch the sharp shells. (Water shoes, personal life vest, and flippers advised.) Walk the nature reserve and spot the swooping Owls. No fences so please bring extra-long dog leads. Use the kayaks and standup paddleboards while wondering if there is life on Mars! (Jetty is not our property.)

It's about 15 min drive to Newcastle beaches, 45 min to Hunter Valley Gardens 10 min to JHH & MacDonald Jones Stadium
