Turn on your favorite camp tunes, unplug, read, make art with the yurt art supplies, do a puzzle, bask on the porch, lounge in the hammocks,cook dinner over the fire, head to Alden for breakfast at the Muffin Tin, take a dip in Torch…we’ll tell you a great spot to jump in! A beautiful 20’ off-grid Yurt on the edge of the woods and the meadow up on the North side of Earthwork Farm, home of the Earthwork Harvest Gathering. Goal Zero solar system, frost-free water spigot, wood stove, tile hearth, two futon beds, couch, vintage chair, desk, shelves, solar lights. Provided by our good friends at Great Lakes Yurt Company, with flooring and outhouse milled and built on site. Rustic and charming. Get away from it all when you stay under the stars.

The yurt is located on a 30 Acre Equine Rescue ranch. It is a 4 season 20ft yurt in the middle of the ranch with a beautiful view of Mustangs (American Legends). All proceeds from rental will go back to the rescue. There is electric, an outhouse a short walk away, a cold water spigot close by. Minutes away from Pleasant Lake for swimming, a local winery & 38 minutes from Ann Arbor. We offer tours and chances to interact with equines, including American Mustangs!

Located in a separate part of the park for privacy, a short walk to the 2 private restrooms and showers reserved for our yurt guests only is required. We are conveniently located near downtown St Ignace, giving guests local access to the city and everything it has to offer while feeling miles away.
