The quintessential kiwi bach, simple and functional, set in complete privacy within our farm on a stunning site high above all else. Originally hunting huts, this unique holiday home is actually four separate buildings that are linked by a large outdoor deck. We replaced roofing, renewed the decking and renovated the insides to create a unique holiday home that has a special character all its own. The front two pods are the living spaces: kitchen/dining and lounge each with stacker doors which open up onto the central deck. The two rear pods are identical in configuration, each split into a double room and a bunk room with internal access to each other, perfect for one family per pod. The bathroom adjoins the lounge and has a shower over a bath, a toilet and a double vanity. The utility room has washer, dryer and laundry tub and a second toilet. The outdoor shower on the northern deck is a completely open showering experience! Both double bedrooms enjoy the unequalled lake views and you'll wake to see the sun rising over Mount Tarawera. A genuine Stoked Hot Tub sits under a pohutukawa on the edge of the front lawn and is a perfect way to relax and enjoy the vista by day and the famous starfilled lake Tarawera sky by night. The lake bach is ideally suited for... ROMANTIC ESCAPES Think fluffy white towels, crisp sheets on a plush super king bed, relaxing together with the stunning lake and mountain backdrop, long soaks in the luxurious Stoked hot tub and cheeky outdoor shower all set in complete privacy and solitude. Peaceful Country Retreat - 10 mins to hot pools

A 2 bedroom quaint cottage, overlooking your own little petting farm. This property is a great option for families with children wanting to get away from city life or a romantic getaway for a couple. Rural enough to have the relaxing farm feel, while close enough to the city to be within range of all the major attractions Rotorua has to offer. The cottages private back garden boasts beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. There's a full 6 acres to roam, plenty of space for kids to play.

The Penthouse Studio at Lake Tarawera

This spacious studio apartment is set in native bush at Lake Tarawera, at the back of a lake-front property. However, it does have great views of the lake. It has one main room which includes a kitchen area, a dining room table, a lounge and beds and there's a separate bathroom. It is accessed up a flight of stairs with a laundry for use downstairs. Wifi is available. There is an outdoor patio, with comfortable furniture, sun umbrella and magnificent views across the lake to the mountain.

The central location is in close proximity to the Whakarewarewa Forest for Mountain Biking and walks, Lake Tarawera, the Okataina walkway and cycle track as well as the Redwoods and an approximate drive of 12 - 15 minutes to the Rotorua CBD. It is perfect for couples and solo adventurers, there is also a fold out couch that is suitable for an extra person/child.
