Situated on the edge of the township towards Lake Ruataniwha and under the UNSECO Dark Sky Reserve, truly a stargazer haven. Twizel township is 4 min drive or 25 min walk.

Mahina Cabin - 1 Bedroom

Mahina Cabin was used by the owner to live in prior to building our residence on this 5500sqm site. It is 10m from our Mahina Cottage and 15m behind our house. It is cosy, private, has plenty of parking and has all that is needed for a quiet getaway while enjoying our little piece of paradise here in Twizel, the heart of the Mackenzie Country. The grounds have been landscaped with mainly native plantings to enhance the privacy and views. The owners live on site and operate a native nursery.

Black Cottage Twizel

This brand new modern two bedroom cottage is perfect for relaxing. It has high quality fittings, fixtures and appliances, you will also be very comfortable year round with the heat pump. Entrance can be through the internal garage, great for winter months, or via the covered veranda, which happens to be perfect for morning coffee in the sun. The cottage boasts a beautiful bathroom with underfloor heating and two bedrooms. It is located in a quiet area, walking distance to town.

Starry Night is a cosy ski-cabin themed house with a huge fully fenced garden and hot tub for incredible stargazing on the edge of the International Dark Sky Reserve. A perfect summer spot 15 minutes drive from Lake Tekapo, with a large deck, BBQ, trampoline, and plenty of space for games. In winter, you will enjoy the wood-burning fireplace and proximity to local ski fields. The air hockey table and Space Invaders arcade game make the property a great family-friendly retreat.

Here, we honour the slow unfolding of time and embrace the imperfections of nature, seeing beauty in the raw, unfiltered world around us. Experience it all with a deeper sense of connection - to each other, and to our surroundings.

Delightful 1-bed barn with stunning mountain views

Come and enjoy a stay on our beautiful lavender and olive farm, with breathtaking mountain views. The Barn has 1 queen-sized bed, 1 sofa bed and private bathroom. There is a microwave, fridge and bbq, tea, coffee, crockery etc You can picnic in the gardens or say hello to the dogs, cats, sheep, & alpacas! Breakfast cereals, bread, jams, coffee, teas etc are provided . You can also treat yourself from our range of natural lavender products in our on-site shop.
