Tahaja is a peaceful getaway with traditional Newar architecture and a large, quiet garden. It is located among rice fields, just 20-minutes' walk from Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a World Heritage Site. Designed by renowned architectural historian Niels Gutschow, this unique place blends heritage with comfort and rustic charm. Home-made dinner, breakfast and tea/coffee are complimentary. No road access! Guests have to walk around 5 minutes on a footpath through the fields to reach the property.

This place is 15 minutes drive from Katmnandul airport, 15 minutes drive to Pashupatinath Temple, 10 minutes drive to Patan Darbar square. 15 minutes drive to Kathmandu Darbar square. 10 minutes drive to bhaktapur Darbar square. Monkey temple is near by.

We're practically in Patan Durbar Square (the cultural heart of the Kathmandu Valley), and just 6km (3.5mi) from the airport and the Thamel night-life district. Kathmandu can be an exhausting place, so having your own apartment will be a great way to recharge. This is one of four private rooms in a secure building. I manage the other rooms as well, so let me know if you need more than one unit.
