The Cottage on the Green

The Cottage is situated on the backside of an acre parcel behind the main house. A swimming pool separates the main house from the cottage. The property is very quiet, peaceful and private. Guest have a Separate entrance. We are a retired lieutenant from a California LE agency and his wife a retired teacher who give guests as much privacy as requested. We are a short distance from the Longleaf Trace and 1.5 miles from the Barn at Bridlewood wedding venue for those attending a wedding there.

Featuring a small front porch & a small, private, fenced in yard, this tiny home provides a relaxing outdoor area you’re sure to enjoy! Inside, a quaint living room with a comfy couch & big tv is perfect for curling up & catching up on your favorite show. A small, full size, eat-in kitchen features all the necessities needed to prepare and enjoy a meal. The bedroom has a full size bed & the bathroom has a stand-up shower!

“The Roost” Farm & Glass studio 1mile from town

Welcome to “The Roost” Guesthouse at Thomley’s Farm. If you are a Christmas Tree customer you might know this building as our Gift Shop. In 2023 we renovated the space and could not be more happy with the outcome. Nice big shower, King sized bed, Twin & Trundle. Electric fireplace & the cutest custom kitchenette. Lots of natural light & privacy when you want it. This front porch is central to the happenings on the farm. You are next door to the Glassblowing studio and goats down the hill.

Tranquil Hideaway

This serene 1-bedroom cottage is a guest house located behind our primary residence. It offers a blend of modern comfort and natural beauty. The open concept living area provides a large area for relaxation and socializing. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or a convenient base for exploring the area, Tranquil Hideaway offers everything you need for a relaxing and memorable stay. This home is a non-smoking home. If you do smoke inside the cottage you will be charged a $250 fee.

This is a New build with all the amenities you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Take a dip in the water on our 200+ yards of sandbar and clear water. Acadian Farms (Cajun Farmhouse)

Situated on 11 wooded acres, and close to town. Enjoy your morning coffee on one of two front porch swings or one of 4 comfy rocking chairs while you watch the horses roaming in the pastures. Wake to the roosters crow announcing sunrise and sunset. Then enjoy quiet evenings watching fireflies light up the sky . Conveniently located 2 miles from the Dogwood Venue, 2 miles from Bridlewood Barn Venue, 2 1/2 miles from the Trace Biking and walking trails and 7 miles from USM Campus.

The Goat Shed

Unique get away. If you are looking for a small place that won’t break the bank this is it. Metal bldg studio apartment. We have goats ,chickens, mini donkey and horse in a fenced in area close to apartment that you can pet and feed. Cows across the road. Basketball court and ping pong table …located outside the gates of Big Bay lake…Located centrally between Columbia and Hattiesburg. Wine and cheese trays available on request for fee. Boat rides on the lake for small fee.
