Care-free Glamping - intimate cabin in the forest

Cabin with camping sites & firepit included! Our 10x10' cabin is nestled a 1/2 km into the forest on 260 beautiful acres. Experience off-grid life with just enough amenities to be comfortable. Grill food at the fire pit, hike, or cozy up to the woodstove and watch the wildlife wander by. A booking is for the whole location, and you decide who gets the cabin (sleeps 2) and who brings the tents. A 2nd 'bunk' cabin, for an additional fee, is always available for your extra guests. This little gem of a spot is on a secluded island in the middle of the Mississippi River. The sound of the rapids will lull you to sleep in your magical tent perched right over the water! With all of the modern conveniences including hot water, outdoor shower, bar fridge, wifi and well appointed outdoor kitchen. This year we are building a treehouse on the island so although we will ensure no construction takes place during your stay, there will be construction materials around on the island

This "rustic chic" home has been designed with your every comfort in mind. There will be no "roughing it" in this rural cottage, nestled in the beautiful Lanark Highlands. North Sky is a perfect getaway for everyone. In winter, we are close to the Snow Road snowmobile trails. In late winter, early spring - we are right in the middle of Maple Syrup country! The apartment is air conditioned, has wifi and cable tv You will have the entire upstairs apartment with private entrance. Indoor parking for one vehicle is included. Very cozy and quiet.

This cabin can sleep up to five people (twin, double, and loft has a queen) Includes small kitchen unit with mini-fridge, sink (no running water but jug of water provided) and double burner stove. The kitchen accessories seen in the photos are what is provided. We ask that you not bring your own dish soap, to protect our ecosystem we will provide it. BEDDING IS NOT PROVIDED PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PILLOWS AND BLANKETS.
